January 1, 2009 dawned damp, cold and blustery. Tim and I headed out into this bracing weather for a 3 mile hike along the waterfront at Shilshole Bay to Golden Gardens and back. It was just what we needed to blow the cobwebs away. Page One Two |
There were few birds around.

Belted Kingfisher
Double-crested Cormorant
American Wigeon
Western Gull

I wonder if this fellow on the breakwater pays moorage fees also?
