17, 2005 It was raining today. Streaming down in buckets. Pouring. However, I needed my Critter Fix so I sloshed along to the Zoo once again. Hardly any animals were around and I don't blame them one bit! I got soaked. I had forgotten to wear my rain pants, and I had also forgotten about the blotting paper effect that happens if you wear long jeans which come in contact with water at the bottom. One interesting thing about the orangutan, Melati, who is very friendly. Today she barrelled over to the window as soon as I appeared and imperiously knocked on the window until I opened my purse and showed her the contents. It was quite funny - she wouldn't give up. I guess she was looking for "bling-bling". Outta luck here, kiddo ;-) Here are a few pics from today. |
