Woodland Park Zoo

Oh there you are again, at last.
If you're not in a rush,
Would you be kind enough to bring
Some toothpaste and a brush?

The other day I saw my teeth.
Good grief! They're mustard yellow!
With White Strips and a little Crest
I'd be a handsome fellow.

So yeah, I'm carrying my tail.
Is that so hard to 'get'?
You try dragging it around
When grass is cold and wet!

It took a while to catch it.
For sure, that's no mean feat.
I hope I can remember that
It's not some food to eat!

Come on in. The water's fine.
Of that I have no doubt.
My pal and I, we both agree
It's warmer in than out.

Yup. Swimming is great exercise.
You really oughtta try it.
I tell you what! It really beats
Going on a diet!

I know that I have Bed Head.
I'm glad it makes you smile.
Could you please lend me a comb
For just a little while?

I smooth it down and fluff it up,
But I can only guess.
Without a brush or mirror,
It looks a frightful mess.

Well this ain't fair! I'm just too short
To reach my yummy lunch.
No matter how I jump and jump
I get no food to munch!

I cannot reach these shoots and leaves.
I'm getting mad, and madder.
I wish the folks who run this Zoo
Would please give me a ladder!

We'd say this new kid is a pain.
She's getting on our nerves.
If we don't keep our patience
She might get what she deserves!

If we go right then she goes left.
Go up and she goes down.
She doesn't fit in at the Zoo.
She's like a circus clown.
