Trying to get rid of Cabin Fever, Tim and I headed for Westport and the Pacific Ocean on Saturday. At best we would spend several hours in the warmth of the sun. At worst, we would have a great Fish and Chip lunch.

Off we went, driving through low-lying fog and under gray skies. Ho hum.

In Allyn, where we stopped to gas up Rosie, was this pretty mural on the side of a Barber Shop.

And by the time we neared Westport - hallelujah! Blue skies! Sunshine!

Our first stop was Bennett's Fish Shack for a superb Halibut and Chips lunch. Oh yum!

After lunch we admired some nearby chainsaw carvings. Ouch!.

Tim and the Merman (named Ethel) got along well.

At Westport Harbor we said hello to some of the The Jetty Cats.

I walked down to the Fishing Docks, spying a Loon in the harbor water.

Nearby, a Gull enjoyed the gift of lunch from a fisherman.

On a sunny day the Harbor is so pretty.
