Seen on a walk in North Seattle today.

Camellias are usually the first bushes to bloom here.

Some appear to be so very delicate.

They're followed closely by the lovely Rhododendrons. This one's a bit early.

It's a great year for crocuses. They're everywhere!

Their colors are so vibrant.

A small swarm of bees was enjoying this patch of crocuses in the sunshine.

Next door, several bunches of pansies bloomed.

Daffodils were everywhere, waving at me in the gentle breeze.

I can never remember the name of this, but it blooms almost all year round.

I bet by this time next week the hyacinths will be out.
