WOODLAND PARK ZOO

March 15, 2010
I don't think the animals had realized that our recent cold snap had eased up this morning. It was lovely to see that some of them were venturing out. Alas the jaguars, who have now been properly introduced and allowed to be together in the enclosure were not among them. I stood waiting for quite a while but in the end, wandered off to see who else I could find.

'I spy with my little eye - that lady with the camera. Don't anyone do anything interesting!'

'ZZZzzzZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzz...' It seems Nina has fallen asleep in the middle of breakfast.

'I always want to sing "Celery stalks at midnight." at breakfast time.

'Shhhh. I sneaked off up the big old tree. Wonder if they know I'm gone yet?'

'Looks like Ma is busy giving herself a manicure. Good!.'

'Oh rats!!! I didn't see Pops go up the tree. Did you? '

'But there he is and he doesn't look too happy. Uh oh.'

'La-la-la-la-la...just goin' down the tree...la-la-la...little ol' me...'
