April 20, 2011 Several new animals were on view since I last visited. It was a gloomy, cold day and the school field trips were once again in full swing. My visit was brief, and I was lucky to find what I'd come to see.

There are 4 gorgeous, new, amber-eyed kids on the Gray Wolf block.

They're not as shy as their predecessors.

One of the bears was sure that Spring had sprung.

He checked out the fish supply, picking out one for his lunch.

Good grief! Would ya look at that puny little fellow over there!

It's a tiny Western Screech Owl, trying to look ferocious.

*Mmmmpppfffff, scrunnnchh,* 'Scuse me for talking with my mouth full.

A girl's gotta eat, ya know.
