Sharon and I had lunch near Green
Lake Park today. It was a beautiful day and we walked
all the way around the lake. Seen but not photographed clearly
were two Bald Eagles and a pair of Cormorants sitting on posts
in the lake. Here are a few more wildlife pictures.

A
little pile of turtles basked in the sunshine.
One
was all by himself down at the end of the log.
I
was amazed how close to this rabbit I got!
He
nibbled away, watching me all the time.
Baby
ducklings scooted hither and yon, almost too fast to photograph.
Flocks
of Coots grazed in the daisy-strewn grass.
A
squirrel blended in nicely with its surroundings.
Red-winged
blackbirds sang from the top of the reeds.
And here's
a contraption I'd never seen before.
Scooters For Geezers, I guess.
