Waiting For Ocelots
I tried to be patient today. Truly I did. I headed straight to the Rainforest pavilion before my lenses had a chance to fog up. I spent hours there for a 3 minute look at the Ocelots, made difficult by the crowds. Oh well, win some, lose some and at the Zoo it's never a total loss.

A Golden Lion Tamarin waits with me for the Ocelots to show up.

'Heh!' says the Tiger Rat Snake. 'Pull up a seat and get comfy.
It might be a while.'

'We have ringside seats.' chortled the Side-necked Turtles.
'We're next door to the Ocelots.'

Suddenly Evita appears.

She prowls around a little bit, checking things out.

Mom (Belle) is never far away from her baby.

In a typical cat behavior, Evita sharpens up those tiny claws.

She's a very curious cat.

'Hmmppfff!' thinks one of the Jaguars. 'All that fuss about a baby!'

The Meerkats were on guard, watching everything.

In the Brown Bear area, the boys were having a tussle in the water.

The brothers were having fun play-wrestling.

Exclaimed the River Otter. 'I'm glad I'm here and they're over there!'

'This sure is a busy Zoo!' murmured a Gray Wolf. 'I like it!'
