The
big rhododendron bush outside our living room window is blooming!
Here's
a house near me. Every year it's resplendent with rhodies.
Rhododendrons
are truly one of the most cheerful plants I know of.
Irises
are beginning to bloom here too. Here's an early one.
I
don't know what this is, but it sure was pretty. Tiny and tall,
it grew among some grass.
(identified by a viewer as a type of clover - thanks!)

This
reminds me of a Bachelor's Button. I am not sure if that's what
it is.
A
delicate white iris grew in the shade.
Another
beautifully-colored iris waved in the sunshine.
I
loved the tones and patterns of these leafy plants growing in
a shady spot.
And
finally, this small succulent grew on a rock near the curb. I thought
it was lovely.
(identified by the same viewer as lewisia - thanks again!) |
