Goslings near North Creek Trail

A brisk walk around the big pond near the North Creek Trail today turned into a 400-picture extravaganza - most of them being shots of baby geese. Talk about a cute overload!

Two families of geese with babies were playing around in the corner of the pond.
   
     
   
     
'There's safety in numbers.' they agreed.
 
     
   
     
'Are we supposed to eat this stuff or ignore it?' 'When in doubt, ignore!'
   
     
   
     
A parent was always nearby, watching.
  
     
   
     
'Egad, I have big feet! I wish that I had Duck Feet!'
 
     
   
     
'Why would he want duck feet? Wait 'til he sees how fast he can swim with those giant flippers!'
  
     
   
     
'I wonder if I'm supposed to go near the water? I forget.'
    
     
   
     
'If we stay together, we're bound to find all the food in the area.'
  
     
   
     
'Pssst. This is kind of boring, huh? I want to FLY!'
 
     
   
     
'Do you remember if we were supposed to eat the little stones? They taste awful.'
