I'm not even
going to mention the "R" word today but you can guess
what it is, because it's Saturday! I took advantage of a small break
between showers and went for a neighborhood walk. Here are some
things which made me smile.

There's
a small photography shop on Greenwood Avenue which had a new window
display. I loved this old picture of a girl on a swing. Why the
bars?
|
|
The
bars were part of this Gilded Cage. I thought it was a very novel
way of displaying the photo - "She's Only A Bird In A Gilded
Cage".
|
|
Both
windows were full of interesting things - old photos and very
old cameras. Unfortunately, the glare and the dirty glass made
it difficult for me to take pictures.
|
|
Oh
yeahhhhh! My favorite chocolate store (Chocolati) was on my route.
These truffles made me smile bigtime!
|
|
One
of these days I am going to take the time to go into the Greenwood
Space Travel Supply Company. (Maybe the next time I need some
asbestos underwear.). All proceeds go to help support 826
Seattle, "a tutoring and creative-writing center for
kids ages 6-18"
|
|
Wow!
Here's one of Seattle's wrapped buses. It must be like sitting
inside a cave, being on that one! Metro Transit has been wrapping
some of its fleet for seven years now, to generate revenue.

|
I
loved this little sign stuck in a flower bed. I sure hope that
fleas can read.
|
|
A
little House Finch watched me carefully as I walked past his wall.
I was surprised he sat still long enough for me to snap his picture.
Page Two is
all about flowers.
