Mountain Loop Highway Wildflowers

‘It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.’
Henry David Thoreau
On a dull, drizzly day we drove around the Mountain Loop Highway. Oh, it was a bazillion shades of green - so beautiful. Tim was looking for waterfalls and I wanted to see if the wildflowers were blooming yet.

I was disappointed until I actually got out of the car and walked along the edges of the road. There they were, winking at me from beneath the leaves and bushes. Here are a few.
