Today the nest appeared to be unattended.
Could this mean the eggs had hatched?
After a little
while, Mom flew in and sat on the edge of the nest.
Is that a tiny beak I see?
Yes indeed it
is, and it's hungry!
Mom got busy.
I had no idea
how many babies there were.
Mom fed for quite a while.
So many mouths to feed.
Suddenly, off she flew, circled around and headed back.
She plunked herself down on the nest.
She wiggled
around and settled in.
Hopefully everyone will now have a nap.
