Adjacent to the Zoo, the Woodland Park Rose Garden is a lovely, peaceful place to spend an hour or two. The scent is gorgeous, and the colors and ambience are very soothing. Last year I nearly missed the roses, so I made sure I was in plenty of time this year. Some had already bloomed but there are still many buds on the bushes.

Here are only a few of the many beautiful roses in the garden.

Here's the gazebo amidst the flowers and bushes.

Near it is this pretty fountain.

And roses, roses everywhere...

Water lilies grow in the peaceful reflecting pool.

From the other angle, you can see the fountain.

I have no idea what most of these roses are, so I won't even guess.
