13, 2008 I find it very hard to push myself out the door during these leaden, gray, damp, gloomy days. Once I do, I find that it's worth it, for there's usually something in the 'Hood to lift my sagging spirits. |
I spy with my little eye...
Lavender's blue, dilly-dilly...
Oh how colorful it is.
A few rhododendrons are still vibrantly colorful.
Poppies can brighten any day.
Here's a pretty street corner.
Most of the poppies are past their peak now.
Not all are the traditional red or pink poppy.
A late-blooming Dogwood
I don't know what these are but I liked them.
And oh, the roses are beginning to bloom.
I love them.
Even in the rain they glow.
These grew up the side of a house.
