| I spent quite
a bit of time with the Bald Eagles, as it's fairly unusual to see
them both sitting on the same branch. |

| The one on the
left was constantly on the move, twisting and preening and looking
around. The one on the right stood guard. |

| One of the bears
was playing in the water as I arrived. He was so funny, standing
right against the glass. All the little kids were squealing and
laughing as he showed off. |

| In a little while
he got out, and waddled around the grass for a while, looking very,
very pleased with himself. |

| The color of
the Ruddy Duck's beak astounded me. The little information sign
told me that this was the Adult Male Breeding Plumage. |

|
| I watched in
glee as a little female made a spectacle of herself, trying to catch
his attention. She lurched around in circles making funny little
noises. |
