Woodland Park Zoo

August 16, 2006
I was there at breakfast time, I suppose. I went early, to try to beat the crowds. Most of the animals were busy eating. I never get tired of watching them.

Chinta the orangutan enjoys breakfast in the grotto.

For such a big fellow, Towan eats very delicately.

One of the Siamangs eats his way through a leafy meal.

I loved the expression on this Macaque's face.

I wonder if the Patas monkey is thinking "Ugh, same old, same old."?

Head of the clan, Vip likes to dine alone.

Nina lounges against a wall and keeps an eye on her offspring.

One of the jaguars washes his meal down with a drink of water.

Ho hum - just another day in Paradise for the Colobus monkey.

So what's up, Pussycat?

I love being there when the lion roars.

These two Kookaburras had a singing contest. It was very funny.

And that's all folks. I have never seen an Elephant run as fast as this one.
