On a clear, sunny Saturday we meandered 22 miles along the bumpy, one-lane
Cascade River Road to gaze at the mountains. The road had recently
reopened, as winter storms caused several washouts which needed
repairs.
I was experimenting with a polarizing filter. I need more practice.
:| Afterwards, we drove along the North
Cascades Highway, to stop at the Skagit
General Store for some fudge (a tradition) and to check out Lake
Diablo.
