I visited the Zoo on Sunday. I've almost given up on the baby jaguars. They're always napping when I'm around. I enjoyed watching the lion cubs and the baby giraffe.

I also caught a glimpse of the four Asian Small-clawed Otter pups, born June 11, and the 2 tiny new Komodo Dragon babies. What a lot of babies this year.

Here's one of the Small-clawed Otter pups.

They're getting used to being out on display and learning about their environment.

They are the smallest, most vocal, most social and most terrestrial of the world's 13 otters.

I stopped to say hello to Hubert, father of the lion cubs.
'Please excuse me. I feel a big yawn coming on.'

'Ahhhhhh-haaaaaa-haaaaa...'

'Eeeeee-yahhhhhh-awwwwwww-ehhhhhhhhh...'

'Rawrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr'
Okay. I'm all finished now!

A bunch of lion cubs rolled around on the top of a grassy mound.

Wow! Look at one of the male cubs! His mane is beginning to sprout. Puberty!

Just hanging out in the sunshine. Ahhhhh, life is good.

Hey, slackers! Anyone want to come and play ball?

The second male is the first to head over to the ball area. He too appears to have hit puberty.
