It's been quite a while since we visited the wonderful Museum of Flight so with Tim's Mom we headed there. It's 'the largest and most comprehensive air and space collections in the United States' and a great place to spend a day.

The building is huge. As you enter, you can't help but look up.


The 'mobiles' are striking and gorgeous.


I can't imagine doing this.


There are so many exhibits in the T.A. Wilson Great Gallery, from Kitty Hawk to the moon.


Here's a Russian descent module from an unmanned Resurs spacecraft.


Before the Space Shuttle, astronauts would land in the water in one of these.


I loved this exhibit of the first animals in space.


Enos and Ham are in their training couches. Ham took a 16.5 minute ride into space on January 31, 1961.
