We drove south to Tacoma and the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. The Zoo is smaller than my usual haunt but it was fun to see some new animals and of course the Aquarium. Here are a few of the different ones.

'Goo goo g' joob. I am the Walrus!' Yes sir, you sure are, all 3,400 pounds of you!

Tufted Puffin, Tufted Puffin, Tufted Puffin. Try saying that quickly three times!

Oh, oh, oh! Sea Otters! How cute is that?

Have some more.

Harbor Seals without a harbor.

'Is it Spring yet?' the Polar Bear yawns.

A Reindeer eats heartily, stocking up for his Christmas job.

What's this? Musk Oxen with no stench? Amazing!

A Lowland Anoa dozes in his den.

Baby Clouded Leopards! They are three months old.

'Chai Li, a female clouded leopard at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, gave birth to a litter of two cubs Tuesday, June 14.

This is Chai Li’s first litter. She and the cubs’ father, 23-month-old Nah Fun, were born at the Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Thailand and put together as a future breeding pair when they were five days old.' [link]

There's also an Aquarium - a huge tank, and smaller tanks along the surrounding walls.

Yes, we found Nemo. It was another good day.
