We took our annual 'looking for the Fall colors at Artist Point' trip today. Each year we guess at the right weekend and this year we were lucky. Although it was a slightly blustery day and we barely got a glimpse of the lovely Mount Baker, the colors were gorgeous. Here are a few pictures of them.

Berries shone like tiny rubies.

Little pockets of color nestle in the rocks too.

And jewel tones border the stark hillsides.

I think I photograph these stumps every year.

A wedding! What a special place to share vows with your beloved. I smiled as I walked past.

Here's another bright area.

Imagine walking down this path. I loved it.
