Back I went to the Zoo today, having been warned by the weatherman that this might be the only dry day until next week. My main purpose was to photograph the Red Panda. I keep missing it, and I am determined to get a decent picture of it

I spent a fruitless half hour at its pen, then meandered around for a while, enjoying some quiet time in the Temperate Zone, watching the ducks and cranes. I visited a few old favorites and returned to the Panda Place for another frustrating twenty minutes. Where the heck WAS it?

I strolled around a corner and had to laugh at myself when I saw a sign informing the public that there were No Animals In This Enclosure for the time being. Duuuuuh! :))

I had a great time though. Here are nine pictures.
