OCTOBER
26th, 2013
It's been a miserable week, weather-wise - fog, mist, leaden skies and
drizzle. Courtesy of my chauffeur, I spent a couple of hours at the
Zoo on Saturday morning along with a few bazillion little kids in Hallowe'en
costumes watching some of the animals receive their traditional Hallowe'en
Pumpkins.
This
made me smile, and so did the little kids. Their costumes were amazing.
Superheroes, animals and little fairies with big, beautiful wings were
everywhere. Also in abundance were decorations made of tiny lights.
I wish they'd been turned on as I'm sure it was dark enough to see them.
I was late for some of the pumpkin festivities, and the lighting conditions
were abysmal but that's the breaks when you live in the Pacific Northwet
<--deliberate typo.
