Bothell, Washington: November 2013
I'm very fond of mushrooms, so today I was happy to find some on a Saturday morning walk. I returned on Sunday to see if I could find any more. A week later I found loads of them growing in the beautifully-manicured lawns of a nearby business complex.

These tiny beauties grew beside the road. They ranged in size from a dime to a quarter in diameter.

They may be a type of Ink Cap mushroom, judging from the appearance of the edges.

The rims were even more pronounced on this small group.

I always love to find an Amanita Muscaria.

I found several which had remained untouched for a week.

Their brims were turned up like chalices.

I nearly stepped on this patch of tiny, shiny fungi!

Sunday, November 10th

This might be a type of Cauliflower Mushroom. Yesterday I thought it was a pile of debris. It's really solidly rooted and feels a lot like its namesake.

I believe the next few pictures might be Chanterelles.

I'm sure they weren't visible yesterday.
