Another dreary Saturday - another Zoo visit. The skies were dark and it rained off and on. I didn't see many animals. I caught up on the news.

  • the lion cubs have all left for their new homes. *sob sob*
  • there is a new adult lion (currently in quarantine) waiting to meet Adia, the cubs' mother.
  • the 'baby' jaguars no longer appear in the grotto with their mother. They are just too much for her. I missed them today.
I spent time browsing the indoor exhibits and before I left I was able to see Uzuuma, the former 'baby gorilla'. Here are a few pictures.

Oh hi there - I'm just hanging out, trying to figure out what to do on a rainy day.


I can think of some mischievous things, but they will have to wait until the others come out.

These fingernails are looking pretty shabby too. *hint hint*



Oh man, did ya hear old Izuuma complaining? She should try living in a dank tank!
