I took an early walk today and was greeted by both older and brand new ducks and geese and a spectacular stranger gliding regally up and down the pond.

I've never seen a swan here before. It's a Tundra Swan.

I hope the swan hangs around for a while - it's lovely to look at.

Huddled on the bank of the pond were Mama Duck and eleven new babies.

They quickly decided to head for the privacy of the far shore.

I was so happy to see still four of my original multicolored ducklings. My, how they've grown.

And the 'baby' geese - wow - in 4 days they've practically doubled in size.

There's a new batch on the block however - 6 fuzzy goslings.

An older gosling flaps his wings hard.

'Hey, I can do that too!' thinks one of the new babies.

Wow, look at the Big Guys! What do you think they are doing?

We're practicing our Strutting.

We can strut too - see?

Pssst, hey - wanna see something funny? Look at the Little Guys strut!

And on the way home I saw a baby Nutria practicing his swimming.

It was a great morning!
