It's change of seasons at the Woodland Park Zoo. The Summer tourists have left. There are still some Office Picnics taking place. Building continues on the new Savannah and revamped Tiger and Sloth Bear exhibits.

I learned after all this time that there is a third group of gorillas I've never seen, likely because I have always visited in the morning. I also lost my camera's lens hood again.

A peacock was running around looking for his missing tail-feathers.

'No feathers down here in our pond.' called the Asian small-clawed otters.

'None up here or as far as my eyes can see!' reported the Patas Monkey.

A giraffe checked to see if the feathers were in his feed-bag. Nope.

Meanwhile on the Savannah, Adia was enjoying the big rock by herself.

'Uh-oh - here comes trouble.'

'Hey, where'd she go? Oh well, at least I have *my* rock back.'

'Adia, I'm gonna find you'

'He never gives up.'

'I know you're over there in the shade somewhere. I'm on my way.'

'But first, I'm catchin' a few rays.'

'He's sleeping again. Now's the time to hide!'

'Xerxes the Mighty Hunter (me, teehee) is on his way.'

'I've got your scent, Adia.'

'HaHA - I spy with my lion eye, someone mighty cute and cuddly...'
