On a cool Saturday morning, I went to the Zoo. I wondered how many animals would come out to say hello. Sometimes it's those I least expect.

Three Red-ruffed Lemurs had commandeered the heated logs.
   
     
   
     
I'm waiting and watching for one of them to move.
 
     
   
     
Haha! Gotcha! Now it's my turn to get warm.
   
     
   
     
I've found the perfect spot - sheltered but right smack-dab in the sunshine.
  
     
   
     
Yawwwwwn - I think I'll take a nap.
 
     
   
     
'I know there's a sunny spot around here somewhere.' says the Cheetah.
     
   
     
Yesssss! Here it is , near my favorite tree.
   
     
   
     
Old Pete is still trying to get up. Not easy when you have arthritis.
  
     
   
     
These heat lamps sure feel good, shining on my old body.
 
     
   
     
Next door, another gorilla naps in the warmth of the heat lamps there.

     
   
     
His pal dreams of warmer times.
   
     
   
     
The Snowy Owl waits patiently for some snow.
