A
sunny Saturday morning was a nice surprise so once again
Tim dropped me off at my favorite place while he ran errands.
I didn't expect to see much as the wind was very cold and
there was lots of construction going on. The Zoo will be
opening a state-of-the-art new Savannah exhibit in a few
months. Three very young tigers will be moving here and
it must be ready.
I always enjoy my walks here and today was no exception.
I was amazed to see the young lion cubs out in this chilly
weather. Dad was out too, which made me smile.

Pssst,
Daddy sure has a LOUD voice, doesn't he?
Where's
he going? I think he's heading to the big hot rock. Let's go too!
Come
on, little one. You can do it. Jump that log! Attaboy!. |
Hi
Daddy! Mind if I join you?. I missed you. |
And
I, the Lion King, climb high above the crowds into the clouds...well,
sort of. |
Daddy
and Mum - see this spot right here? It's MY sleeping spot!
Yessssss
- best napping spot ever. |
Napping!
Who wants to nap? We wanna WRESTLE! |
Now
look, you two. Nap time is NOT wrestle time. Do you need a
time out? |
I think
these two had better come and sleep near you, dear.
Haha.
JUST what we wanted. Little Bro will not be pleased. |
