Tim dropped me off at the Zoo on a sunny Saturday morning. I wanted to see the young giraffe Misawa once more before he heads to a zoo in Brownsville Texas. Mission accomplished, I headed to the lemurs and the lions.

According to the Zoo folks, the young lions are a lot friskier now that the weather is cooler. Indeed they are! There was a huge crowd watching them. I could hear the laughter before I got to the viewing area. Here are 14 pictures.

So, what does everyone want to do today?

I know - lets play Grass and Sticks! I've got mine. Me too.

I'm pretending mine is a very long toothpick. Or a funny whistle. *tweeeeet, tweeeet!*

I can't decide if mine is going to be a fan, or a big ol' beard!.

Well *I've* got a stick. Sort of. It's an odd, rolly kinda stick.

Can I see? Nope, not just now. I found it and it's mine.

I'm going to hurry up and bury it in the straw before those other two try to take it.

Hey Bro - Whatcha hiding? Let's see. Me? Hiding? Ummmm - nothing at all.

Awww come on. Pretty please? I'll let you play with my green beard.

N.O. -NO! Maybe later. Just go away and leave me alone.

Nope, I'm not moving. Then *I* will. See ya!.

Oh give me a break. Not you too! It's only a funny stick! Go away! Wrestle or something.

Oh yay! Wrestling time! Wheeeee!

Peace at last!
