Two
things I've learned to love since coming to Washington State
are coffee and garlic. Tim is a garlic afficionado, so what
better thing to do on a beautiful Saturday than take a trip
north to Arlington, to the Annual Arlington Garlic Festival?
We had no idea at all what to expect - the only information
we could find was that it was held on a farm, and no-one we
know had been to it. Figuring that even at its worst, it would
be a pleasant drive on a lovely sunny day, off we went.
The
following pages are intended to portray some of the color
and activity at this most enjoyable festival. I hope you can
get a sense of the fun and the relaxed atmosphere. There are
ten pages of pictures, with four to a page.
