On Saturday, March 20, 2004, we decided to try the Seattle PI's Walk Of The Week. It looked about our speed. The last time we were in Anacortes was the infamous Keys Locked In The Car day so we made sure we had extra keys with us. Superstitious? Us? Naaaaaah!

We were enticed by the promise of "spectacular views of the Olympics and the San Juan Islands". The statement was correct - they were fabulous. We followed this trek with a drive up Mount Erie (elev. 1207 ft) with equally as breathtaking panoramas.
