I took my camera with
me on my morning stroll today. As I walked along, I thought
about what a nice place I am in my life at present. I have
time to meander along, admiring my new home and appreciating
Mother Nature at her finest. Many times in the past I've
been too rushed or preoccupied to notice the beauty around
me.
On the left are examples are some of the homes. The streets
are narrow, lined with houses which are comparatively small
and mostly older. Believe it or not, they sell for upwards
of $400,000 (which is why we are renters, not owners). They're
charming, with a whimsical free-and-easy style of landscaping
and a variety of flowers and shrubbery. Each season brings
new things to see.
The flowers today were gorgeous. They are lovely most of
the year 'round. I noticed many roses still blooming, and
the Autumn displays are beginning to blossom.
Below are photos of some of them, and you can see a larger
version by clicking the image.
