Back to Heather Meadows we went once more, however today was much different. To begin with, the skies were cloudy and gray when we left Seattle. By the time we reached Heather Meadows, the clouds hung low and misty rain covered everything, including us.

Needless to say, we did not see our mountains today, but we carried on and were treated to some beautiful Autumn colors. Our hike along Artist Ridge gave us exercise but little else, as we couldn't see a thing. Here are a few pictures of our day. (Click to see an enlargement,)
