We took off
for the other side of the mountains today, up and over Stevens
Pass to Lake Wenatchee on the eastern side of the Cascades.
For the most part, it was a nice day but it was not without
its adventures.
We were sad to see that the Reptile Museum in Gold Bar had a
"For Lease" sign in its window - that had been a fun
place to visit. We saw sunshine, snow, clouds and rain. It was
warm enough to be without a coat. The scenery was great, and
as usual we spotted places to explore when we return.
