It's been nearly six years since I alit in Washington State - the first of many visits. At the conclusion of my second trip, Tim drove me to Vancouver Airport via the scenic way...north along the coastline. On that day, we ate our lunch at Semiamoo Bay - a place which would later play a strange part in my life. Today we retraced some of our steps. It was fun, and more than a little nostalgic.

Cormorants greeted us at Semiamoo Bay.

Boy, these scenes brought back old memories!

Gulls kept watch over the fleet of boats.

Tim had a whale of a time at the Blaine Park.

Ang, looking a little orca-ward here.

Some people will try anything to catch a fish.

Yup - coffee stands come in all shapes and sizes here.

Oh, so you were expecting a horse ranch, maybe?

We visited the illustrious Black Drop in Bellingham.

Chuckanut Drive is an old and very beautiful road.

Here goes Ang on her "barn kick" again!

And lastly, the obligatory Bird Pics.
