Winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting and autumn a mosaic of them all.

It's been a while since I've had time to amble along and check out the neighborhood gardens, so that's what I did today. Although it's technically not quite Fall, the Autumn mosaic was in its glory, from the last roses of summer, to the nodding chorus of sunflowers to the mellow fruits and vegetables. It was lovely (and a nice break from the gloomy days we've had lately.)
