Off we went, once again to the Cascades. We'd never seen Heather Meadows in February so we headed there, meandering down Mosquito Lake Road on the way. It was kind of fun to be out in the snow for a while. I'm not sure if we'll return to this area during the ski season though - it was wall-to-wall cars and kids in the parking lots, so we didn't stay long at the top.

As always, we had a great day, and saw a lots of good scenery, wildlife and whimsies. The snow looked pretty and you might notice we didn't need our coats - it wasn't cold at all.
