Native Plant Appreciation Week

This looks like a Desert Lily, but it's far out of range for that, so it might just be a very pale Camas Lily.
We saw a few Wild Strawberry blossoms.
Tiny, delicate Yellow Sedge plants waved in the breeze.
In the woods, we found one lovely Trillium.
Off we went north to Tolmie State Park, where we saw people clamming and folks getting ready to scuba dive.
It was a great place to eat lunch in the sunshine.
Bright yellow Scotch Broom, a non-native, invasive weed and a white bush which looks a lot like Japonica line the I-5 highway, looking beautiful.

And soon, our Seattle comes into view. The Space Needle looks very tiny on the left, behind Safeco Field where the Seattle Mariners play baseball. This is next door to Quest Field where the Seattle Seahawks throw the football around.

The tallest building is the Columbia Center and boasted the Best Bathroom in the USA.
