Budding ferns looked like Aliens from another planet.

The trail varies a lot in construction and in ease of use.

 
  After lunch we drove along Beckler River road, looking for wildflowers.


Here I am, stalking the wild Crimson Columbine.
 

Crimson Columbines are among my favorite wildflowers.
 

Rapid River Road is rather primitive. We love it.
 

We found several pretty waterfalls.

 
And we ended our trip beside another noisy, rushing river.
