The
Center For Wooden Boats
Seattle, WA
A number of old anchors were
lying nearby the path.
They were all shapes and
sizes.
Here's our lunch view of
the day, at Golden Gardens looking at the Olympic Mountains.
The tide was out and the
shore was alive with birds enjoying their lunches as well.
After lunch I did a little
scavenging. Here's a Moon Snail shell (empty).
Perhaps this crab was a gull's
lunch.
A sea anemone waved its tendrils
below the water.
Here is the breathing tube
of most likely a mollusk of some sort, maybe a Geoduck clam.
The mollusk is deep down in the sand. It can feel vibrations so it withdrew
its breathing tube.
Time to go home, past the
Turtle Log with a visitor.
