| Suddenly a darker dragonfly
landed near me - a female Twelve-spotted Skimmer. She looked as
if she was glad to rest when uh-oh, she was discovered by the guys. |

As soon as the males noticed
the new arrival, they began to chase her all over the place. The
female flew very low, close to the water but the males were relentless.
The last I saw, they were headed to the far side of the pond.

seemed much less shy too.
