An old stone hut overlooks Mount Shuksan
and Nooksack Ridge.
As always I took a close-up view of my beloved
Mount Shuksan.
On the way down we stopped at Picture Lake
again, and walked around it.
| Clusters of Alpine
Lilies waved at our feet. |
| Every now and then,
Mount Shuksan would pop up to say hello. |
Our way home included a ride down Mosquito
Lake Road to see an Old Vehicle Collection.
| The landowner has
a number of ancient cars, trucks and farm vehicles displayed on his large
property. |
| We both enjoyed looking
at them before we headed back to the Emerald City after another fun day
in the Cascades. |
