A trail led past Upper Bagley Lake(?) but the snow blocked that one so we back-tracked..
   
I think this might be Lower Bagley Lake, a cirque lake below Table Mountain..
 

Now we're getting ready to scramble up a large, gently sloping rock face.

   

Here and there are inlaid steps which are very helpful.

  
Stop! Although the road doesn't look too bad here, we could see snow on the higher parts.
  
Despite the huge crowds, we managed to snag our favorite picnic table. Life is good.

On the way down, we stopped to take a picture of the surrounding Alpine Meadows..
 

I took a last look at Mount Shuksan.

   

And we saw the Twin Sisters with Mount Baker peeping over their shoulders. It was a really nice day.
