At the Baker Lake Road Trailhead, a Mourning Cloak butterfly visited us.
These butterflies have the longest life-span - 11 to 12 months.
  
     
   
     
We stopped to watch a few elks far away in a field.
 
     
   
     
And lastly, two young Cormorants were enjoying the sun on a log in the Skagit River.
