As is the custom, as many of the O'Donoghues as possible gather at the home of Mary Jane and Michael, to await the arrival of Santa on Christmas Eve. The youngsters are asleep in their beds <wink wink> and the rest of the clan pass the time by eating, drinking and talking.

At the right time, the kids are invited downstairs to visit, and when they spy the piles of loot left under the tree, there are shouts of glee and in they dive ! It's quite a sight.
