During the Christmas Season, there is a Lighted Boat Parade in Seattle

"The Spirit of Seattle—decked out with 3,000 sparkling lights, is designated the official Christmas Ship—sets sail with a lighted procession from Pier 55 in downtown Seattle to log more than 2,300 nautical miles through Puget Sound and Lake Washington. Wrapped in garlands from illuminated bow to stern, the Christmas Ship hosts 20 choirs that perform free holiday programs in 50 locations throughout Lake Washington, Elliott Bay and Puget Sound. Argosy Cruises sponsors the parade and invites all boaters to adorn their vessels and follow behind the ship to participate in decoration contests on December 9, 16 and 23. " (www.family.go.com).

We suspect this boat is getting an early start on its decorations for the next Parade ;-)
