I got so excited when Tim yelled "Starfish!" because that was one of the things I REALLY wanted to see, and the tidal pools were famous for their starfish. I raced over and we began photographing. Hmmm - they certainly didn't look like any starfish *I* had seen before. *Poke poke poke*. Awww rats, they were all dead and petrified. Still, they were very beautiful in their own way. The bases of the tidal pools were literally covered with them.
